STORY ‘Teeja Punjab’is a story of feelings that every planter and his family has for their land. This goes without saying that a planter treats his land as his mama and can do anything to cover it. The plot veritably beautifully presents the very sentiment. It brings to light the strength and fidelity of growers, alongside their concinnity. At the same time, there’s a plot, which shows an reckless hubby losing everything to his bad habits and a woman who’s tired of conforming with him. Later, the story revolves around the veritably hubby’s struggle to get his land back from the Sarpanch of the vill, who wisecracked him into subscribing the wrong papers and also took hold of his land.
Nonetheless, the veritably hubby too changes with time, when he sees the true mortal values and feelings.
REVIEW The story starts with the vill master ( schoolteacher) presenting a show on Shahid Bhagat Singh. On one hand, the Master tries to bring forth the offerings made by Bhagat Singh, and on the other hand, the lead actor of the movie Bhagat (Amberdeep Singh) can be seen being bought for his vote. Bhagat is an alcoholic, who votes only for plutocrat; thus when he gets a better offer from the opposition, he contributes to their palm.
These reckless acts of Bhagat aren’t at each appreciated by his woman Mohni (Nimrat Khaira). Mohni has a great attachment to her things. She does n’t indeed let a coliseum being wrong acquired by someone, let alone her land. Thus, when she figures out that the Sarpanch (B.N. Sharma) makes a unlawful possession over her land because of her hubby, she gets really angry and leaves the house with her sprat in an moment.
This breaks Bhagat emotionally. He tries to communicate the Sarpanch, but he noway gets a hold of him. He goes to the bobbies, but no bone comes to his deliverance.
On the other hand, new ranch bills are introduced and growers led by the master decide to go on a kick so that they can talk to the government. Every planter, despite their age, size of land, family background, moves to the megacity to stand in concinnity for their lands. The movie shows how all of them stand in solidarity for their rights and stick together until their voices are heard.
The Sarpanch of the vill is n’t happy with the growers’ kick and the leader of the growers-the master. He fears that he might lose his president to the master. Thus, he lures Bhagat into another trap and tells him that he’ll return his land to him if he manages to bring the growers back to the vill. Bhagat originally hesitates, but also falls prey to Sarpanch’s wordplay. Still, after spending time at the kick and understanding the value of not just land, but the worth of concinnity, mortal feelings, Bhagat changes and he changes for the better. He not only goes against the will of Sarpanch but also gets back his land.
Though the movie is further than 2 hours long, nothing in the plot looks stretched. Amberdeep Singh as Bhagat plays the main lead with excrescencies. It isn’t veritably common to show a idol with excrescencies, but Amberdeep Singh did n’t present the rescuer of the day in the form of his lead, rather showed a impeccably amiss man and his struggles. Right from his jotting to prosecution, everything is just on point. On the other hand, Nimrat Khaira as a frustrated woman in the movie did complete justice to her part. Her every and every expression was pure gold and Pollywood does need further strong womanish characters like her.
Further,B.N. Sharma is playing a negative part in the movie as the Sarpanch, which is fully contrary from his ridiculous image. With this character,B.N. Sharma has proved his versatility formerly again.
Last but not the least, every other supporting character, be it Gurpreet Bhangu, Karamjit Anmol, Aditi Sharma, or the child artist, has put their heart into the movie
